About these terms
These terms apply to ordinary use of the Hagglefor website and your Hagglefor account.
Some features have their own additional terms. Marketplace participation is governed by the Marketplace Terms, paid membership by the Membership Terms, and listed items must comply with the Prohibited & Restricted Items Policy.
The Privacy Notice explains how personal information is handled, and Customer Information / Cancellation & Refunds explains relevant membership cancellation and refund information.
Your account
Hagglefor is operated by Merryton LLC.
When creating an account, provide accurate information and keep your sign-in details secure.
Do not impersonate another person, misuse somebody else’s account or try to bypass Hagglefor’s security or account controls.
Hagglefor Marketplace participation is available only to people aged 18 or over.
Passwords and account recovery
Keep your password and Account Recovery Key secure.
Forgot Password is for people who still have access to their registered email address. Account Recovery is for people who have lost access to that email but still have their Recovery Key.
Hagglefor does not keep a readable copy of your Recovery Key, and Account Support cannot bypass the normal security checks needed to recover an account.
Using Hagglefor properly
Use Hagglefor lawfully, fairly and in good faith.
Do not interfere with the service or its security, attempt unauthorised access, upload malicious code, impersonate or harass other people, misuse private information, or deliberately manipulate Marketplace or account controls.
Serious or repeated misuse may result in appropriate restrictions, suspension or closure of an account or particular feature.
Content and intellectual property
Hagglefor and Merryton text, design, software, databases and archive material belong to their respective owners or licensors.
You may use the site for ordinary personal and service purposes, but you must not reproduce the site, database or content wholesale where rights apply.
Material you contribute remains subject to the content licence explained in the Marketplace Terms where applicable.
Availability and external services
We aim to keep Hagglefor available and working properly, but maintenance, faults and outages can happen.
Hagglefor may change, suspend or retire features where necessary.
Some parts of the service may rely on third-party providers, and Hagglefor is not responsible for services outside our control.
Account inactivity and closure
Membership expiry does not make an account dormant.
A genuinely unused account may eventually be treated as dormant. Hagglefor gives reasonable warning before an otherwise eligible dormant account is closed.
When an account is closed, unnecessary personal information is deleted or de-identified. Information with an independent reason to remain — such as necessary commercial, security, licensed-content or anonymous archive evidence — may be retained.
Privacy and specialist terms
Your privacy is more important than convenience.

Marketplace, membership and other specialist features may have additional terms. Those specific terms govern those features where they apply.
Changes to these terms
These terms use Wyoming and applicable United States law as their contractual starting point, while preserving any mandatory rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
If these terms change, the new version applies from its stated effective date. A later version does not rewrite completed Marketplace activity, an existing paid Membership Agreement or other historical facts.
